Delivery Policy relating to sales from Turner Access Ltd Online Shop/Website Sales
Turner Access will utilise selected National Carriers to transport goods ordered via the Turner Access Online Shop
We will deliver the goods in accordance with your order usually within 3-5 days of order receipt but normally not later than 30 days. In the unlikely event that we do not make the goods available to you within 30 days of accepting your order you will have the option of cancelling your order by notifying us accordingly prior to delivery. Before placing your order, please refer to our delivery terms (listed under Term & Conditions) and ensure that we can deliver to your address on request. The day prior to delivery, a member of our Customer Services Team will call you to confirm that delivery will be made the next working day. It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available at the nominated delivery address to take receipt of the goods between 8am and 5pm on the day of delivery. A valid signature will be required on delivery or collection.
Please read the following statement carefully.
On receipt of the goods, please check the number of packages received and check that this matches the number of packages noted on the carrier’s delivery paperwork. We request that you check the goods thoroughly and ensure that the delivery is complete and that the components are free from damage. If the correct number of packages has been delivered and the goods are free from damage, please sign the carrier’s delivery paperwork accordingly. If you sign the carrier’s paperwork as received satisfactorily and complete, we cannot accept a later claim for goods not received or received damaged. If you do not have sufficient time to check the goods thoroughly on receipt of the delivery, please mark the carrier’s paperwork as “GOODS RECEIVED UNCHECKED”. Please however ensure that you check that the correct number of packages has been delivered. If the number of packages received does not match the number stated in the carrier’ paperwork, please mark any shortages accordingly on the carrier’s paperwork.
In the unlikely event that you have not received all the goods within the stated delivery time, you must notify us immediately. There may be an occasion where a part delivery will be made by our carrier, with the rest of the goods following later the same day or the next day. If this occurs we will endeavour to contact you to confirm that this has happened and confirm when the remaining goods will be delivered to you. You must not schedule or commence any installation work until after you have received your order and checked all the goods for any defects or missing parts.
For reasons of health and safety and to avoid any property damage, as our equipment is mostly bulky and heavy, equipment can only be delivered to the exterior of a ground floor location at the delivery address. You must therefore make your own arrangements at your own risk if the relevant item needs to be transported from the delivery location. We will not provide any unpacking, installation or fitting services upon delivery unless agreed by separate arrangement.
You must do all that you reasonably can to enable delivery to take place at the given time and place. If you delay delivery, or delivery fails because you have not taken appropriate steps, we will try to arrange for an alternative delivery date within 30 days of the failed delivery. If delivery fails as a result of circumstances within your reasonable control, the cost of any re-delivery shall be borne by you. If we are unable to arrange a date for re-delivery we may cancel your order and refund to you the price that you have paid for the goods, less the failed delivery costs and the costs to return the goods to our premises.
